Other information this week from CMSA;

  • Calling all Used Soccer Jerseys!

    • Chris from Operation Christmas Child with the Samaritans is able to give our old jersey’s to deserving and needy kids around the world.  He returned recently from a trip to Senegal where our Jerseys would be really appreciated – a team is going back in mid June, however we can pass these on at any time.  Please let me know if you can help!  Caroline – execassist@calgaryminorsoccer.com

  • Last week we mentioned that the developmental leagues were looking for representation – they are still looking, however the following that competitive leagues would be interested in volunteers as well;

The Competitive League Advisory Committee (CLAC) for CMSA is currently seeking more representation from Calgary Minor Soccer clubs to discuss the needs of the Competitive Soccer Program in Calgary. Most Soccer Clubs with teams in Competitive divisions are encouraged to participate in having a voice on how this league will operate

The CLAC meets 3 or 4 times annually to discuss topics and make proposals to CMSA which are achievable and will make positive impacts on the whole of Competitive Soccer in Calgary. Previous discussion topics include;

-       Competitive Leagues at U12-U18
-       Coaching and Referee Development
-       Parent Marshalling Program
-       Referee Availability for Competitive divisions

If these are of interest and you wish to get involved, please contact the following to join the DLAC. Tony Wooster at tony.wooster@gmail.com
