CMSA has issued the following information regarding photo id's for the forthcoming outdoor 2008 season : PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARDS FOR CALGARY MINOR SOCCER – READ THE COMPLETE PAGE PLEASE All players from U12 to U18 require a valid CMSA Photo ID card. These cards may be handed in individually at the request of the referee at the start of each game. If a player does not have their Player Card prior to the start of the Game, that Player will not be allowed to participate in the game. At least one Team Official for U10 to U18 teams requires a valid CMSA Photo ID but it is encouraged that each team official on the roster have a CMSA ID card. All Player Photo ID cards are valid for 4 years. All team official Photo ID cards are valid for 3 years so long as their CPIC is valid. No team official cards will be issued until such time as the individual team official has applied for the CPIC. Upon expiry, Cards will be revalidated and re-issued at no cost to the Player / Team Official, should they still require and desire a valid CMSA Photo ID card. If your card DOES NOT have an expiry date on it, you need to get a new card. The ID cards are property of CMSA and must be given back to the Member at the end of each season or when requested by CMSA. The cost for replacement cards, should a Member require a new card to replace a lost card, is $10. Any player found using more than one-(1), player ID card shall be suspended from all soccer activity until a CMSA Discipline hearing is held. PHOTO ID SESSION TIMES
ALL SESSIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. YOU WILL HAVE TO BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT ONLINE. INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOOKING ONLINE WILL BE AVAILABLE SHORTLY ON THE CMSA WEBSITE. DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE TO BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT. DO NOT JUST DROP IN AS WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET YOUR PHOTO ID CARD DONE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.
You will need to bring your CMSA ID number with you. You can obtain that number through your club registrar or if you have played with CMSA in the last year, you can obtain it by going to the CMSA website > Past Seasons > Archives. If you go to your teams standing page and click on your team, your past schedule will appear. Click on team roster and find your name with the ID # beside it.
