James Greco-Taylor

James has been playing soccer since the age of two, and the game has remained a lifelong passion. He grew up through the Calgary Blizzard system and continues to represent the club today as a member of the Blizzard APL Men’s team. In 2025, James helped the team win the league title, earning the opportunity to compete against MLS side CF Montréal in the Canadian Championship—the highest level of domestic soccer in Canada.

Throughout his playing career, James has also represented Alberta at the provincial level, competing at the Alberta Summer Games and helping lead the team to a tournament championship while serving as captain.

From 2021 to 2025, James was a student-athlete with the University of Calgary Men’s Soccer team while completing his degree in Civil Engineering. Following five years as a player, he transitioned into a coaching role with the Dinos and currently serves as an Assistant Coach, where he is responsible for video analysis and set-piece preparation.

James is excited to bring his playing experience, leadership, and passion for the game back to the Calgary Blizzard program and help support the development of the next generation of players.
