Cedric Bovon

Cedric Bovon serves as Girls Reach Technical Director at CBSC, bringing a development-focused approach and a strong connection to the club. Cedric joined Calgary Blizzard in the fall of 2020 and continues to play an important role in the growth of the club’s programming. He previously supported the club as Boys Core Development Manager, where he contributed to the technical development of athletes within the Core Phase.

Throughout his time at CBSC, Cedric has worked closely under the mentorship of Sporting Director Diogo Raposo, gaining valuable experience within the club’s technical framework and player pathway model. Alongside his work with Blizzard, Cedric also holds post-secondary coaching roles, having previously served on the coaching staff with the University of Calgary Dinos Women’s Soccer Team and currently serving as Head Coach of the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Women’s Soccer Team.

Cedric remains a key member of the Calgary Blizzard WSC program competing in League1 Alberta. He served as Assistant Coach with the League1 Women’s team through the 2025 season and has since been named Head Coach alongside Diogo Raposo, continuing to support the program’s high-performance environment and player development pathway.

With a strong focus on the Reach Phase, Cedric brings valuable experience working with athletes at a critical stage of their development. He is dedicated to the development of U14–U17 female athletes, supporting both collegiate and soccer-for-life pathways while fostering long-term growth, technical development, and a lasting love for the game.
