Calgary Blizzard's 2010 Girls Named #1 U15 Team in Canada
They came into the season with ambitions. Seven months later, they have a national ranking to match.
Calgary Blizzard's 2010 girls program has been named the top U15 girls team in Canada by FTF Canada for July 2025 — recognised above elite programs from coast to coast for a season that has been, in a word, dominant.
The numbers speak for themselves: a 17-1-1 record, a goal differential of +85, and just 14 goals conceded across the entirety of league and cup play. In a national landscape filled with talented, well-resourced programs, this group hasn't just competed — they've set a standard.
Key wins over St. Albert Impact in both league and cup play secured their place in the U15 PDP Cup — Canada's premier national showcase for players at this level, and the stage where the country's best programs go head to head. According to FTF Canada, Blizzard enter that competition as the favourites to lift the trophy.
For a group of 14 and 15 year olds from Calgary, that's no small thing.
This team is a reflection of what happens when talent meets environment. The coaching, the culture, the standards set every day at training — this is The Orange Way producing results at the highest level of the game in this country.
The national stage awaits. We couldn't be more proud.
