Meet Tayla
Tayla is a Blizzard original – joining the club in Spring 2021 and quickly becoming one of the most energetic, player-first voices on our technical staff. A Health and Physical Education graduate from Mount Royal University and holder of her CSA C-Licence, she brings both the credentials and the genuine love for the game that sets great coaches apart.
With a background as a Grassroots Director at her former club, Tayla has a natural gift for connecting with young players – the kind of coach who makes the game feel exciting from day one. But her impact doesn't stop there. As a competitive female athlete herself, Tayla carries a deep personal commitment to supporting girls and women through every stage of their sport journey – helping them set goals, chase them, and build a lifelong relationship with the game.
Her experience, her dedication to long-term player development, and her passion for keeping athletes in sport make her an invaluable part of Blizzard's Roots program and a cornerstone of what we're building here.
