The England Experience 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

For twelve years, Calgary Blizzard has been taking players to England for an experience that goes far beyond a soccer trip. This is football immersion — a bespoke journey into the heart of the English game, built in partnership with one of the Premier League's most storied clubs.

This is English Football.

The Partnership

At the heart of the England Experience is our long-standing partnership with Leicester City FC. Players don't just visit England – they train within a professional football environment, coached by Leicester City Academy staff and competing against local opposition on the same turf where the professional game is played.

For a young player from Calgary, there is nothing quite like it.

On the Pitch

Football is at the centre of everything. During the tour, players take part in technical training sessions delivered by Leicester City Academy coaches, and compete in 3–5 competitive matches against local teams – played 11-a-side with regular substitutions, on grass and turf venues across the region.

This isn't exhibition football. It's real competition, in a real football culture, against players who have grown up in the game.

The Professional Experience

Players also get an inside look at the professional game – attending 3–5 live professional matches and visiting iconic stadiums on non-match days, including:

  • King Power Stadium — home of Leicester City FC

  • Old Trafford — home of Manchester United

These aren't just sightseeing stops. They're moments that show young players exactly what the top of the game looks like, and what's possible.

The England Experience is a cultural adventure as well as a football one. Optional activities give players and families the chance to explore everything England has to offer:

Every activity is organized, accompanied, and built into the tour experience – so players and families can enjoy every moment without the logistics.

What's Included

The England Experience is a fully all-inclusive package. Outside of the optional activities – every participant travels, trains, and experiences the trip together as a group.

  • Accommodation for all nights

  • Transport to and from the airport

  • Transport to all games, professional matches, and social activities

  • Match tickets to all professional games

  • 2 meals per day (breakfast and one additional meal)
